Purpose of the PTA Board :

• First and foremost, to be of benefit to our school, the community we live in, students in need, and our school's requirements by collaborating in the events, trips, and charity campaigns organised by the SFA.
• To support our school in becoming a globally recognised, successful institution.
• To ensure that students and parents become part of the BIS Family through activities in line with the school spirit.

Duties and Authorities of the Parent-Teacher Association Board of Directors (PTA):

• To cooperate with the school administration, teachers, parents and families.
• Supporting the school's strategic planning and implementation efforts to ensure quality and success in education. 

• Contributing to the organisation of educational activities such as courses, exams, seminars, music, theatre, sports, art, trips, fairs and similar events planned by the school administration to enhance student achievement. 
• Contributing to the evaluation of educational environments such as classrooms, sports halls, libraries, laboratories, and workshops outside of teaching and learning activities, in cooperation with the School Management.
• Purchasing goods and services to meet the school's needs.
• Accepting in-kind and cash donations to the school, keeping records, organising social and cultural events and campaigns, and using conditional donations for their intended purpose.

PTA Activities and Meetings:

• It organises meetings with the school administration every quarter term  and works in cooperation.
• When deemed necessary, the chairman, vice chairman and board members of the PTA may hold meetings at school/outside the school.
